Chinese Billionaire Pays HK$498 Million for Asia’s Third Most Expensive Apartment at Mount Nicholson in Hong Kong
Chinese billionaire Zhu Xingliang has bought 2 apartment units at luxury housing development Mount Nicholson in Hong Kong for HK$498.88 million ($63.72 Million). Mount Nicholson, jointly developed by Wheelock & Co and Nan Fung Development, is a luxury housing development atop Hong Kong’s highest elevation, The Peak. The transaction is the third most expensive residential home recorded in Asia and was sold in November 2017.

Zhu Xingliang founded Suzhou Gold Mantis Construction Decoration 1993, and is estimated to be worth just under $3 billion in personal net worth. He paid HK$498.88 million or HK$116,945 per square foot for the four-bedroom flat on the 10th floor of the development’s third phase.
