The most expensive home ever listed in United States has hit the market in Bel Air for $250 million. It has overtaken the previous record holder, a $195 million mega mansion in Manalapan, Florida. The 38,000 square foot mansion has 12 bedrooms, 21 bathrooms, 3 kitchens, a bowling alley, a movie theatre, a 85 foot infinity pool with its own bar and a candy room with $200,000 of treats.

The home was developed by handbag tycoon and owner-developer Bruce Makowsky . He built his fortune selling handbags on QVC and has sold nine billionaire homes in the past six years.
